Most people have some idea where they want to live and what amenities they would want in a home. This is perhaps the most important part of deciding to buy a home — not to mention the most fun.

When shopping for a home, you may want to consider:

• The location of the home.
• The type of home.
• The size of the home.
• Your lifestyle.
• Future needs.

Most often, it is best to discuss your needs with a real estate agent.  At Windermere Mortgage Services we encourage you to find a real estate agent that works well with you and knows the neighborhood where you would like to live.

We also encourage you to get preapproved.  It will allow your real estate agent to make realistic choices when helping you select a home that meets your needs.  A preapproval will also put you ahead of other buyers that may be interested in the same home as you.
